These porcelain pieces were gas-fired in one of two cross-draft soda-kilns at Northern Arizona University. The surfaces were created through the use of flashing slips, various layered glazes, masking techniques, and atmospheric effects produced by the kiln. The works were created between 2008 and 2012.
