Online Sales
I have just recently set up my online sales shop. Please bear with me as I work out the kinks.
Shipping
I am a one man operation with teaching being my full-time job. I will do my best to ship items quickly but occasional delays are likely. Items will typically ship within five days of being ordered. Larger or more complicated orders may take longer as special packaging may have to be purchased. At this time I can only ship orders to Canada and the Continental United States of America.
Microwave/Dishwasher Safe?
All of my functional pottery is fired to either cone 6 or cone 10 using food safe glazes. They are microwave and dishwasher safe though it’s recommended you use your best judgement. As with any daily use item ceramic dishes will experience normal wear and tear over time. This may include crazing (small fractures in the glaze that do not affect it’s food safeness) or small chips from rough handling. For increased longevity, careful handwashing is recommended. With that said, in my own home, dishes are frequently put through the microwave and dishwasher without any ill effect.
Returns
Please contact me at duncantweedceramics@gmail.com within 7 days if you have received a broken shipment. You have 30 days to return items that you are unsatisfied with upon receipt. You will be required to pay return shipping of the item in the condition it was received in. This does not cover pieces broken through negligence or normal wear and tear.
Stock in Stores
I do have limited supply in a local store in Salmon Arm, Wildwood Flower Emporium. Stock is limited and rotated often.
Workshops & Classes
My full-time job is teaching out of a small private pottery studio called The Workshop in Salmon Arm, BC. For those interested in taking classes with me click here for more info. The best way to pursue this is through the contact info for the studio itself and not my artist email.
WHOLESALE/COMMISION
At this time I am do not do wholesale but do commissioned orders on a very limited basis. Feel free to reach out if you have specific requests in mind but be warned that I am very particular about what extra projects I take on. My limited time for making work is primarily allotted for the craft shows I attend throughout the year and teaching pottery. As my workflow changes so may this so check back in the future if interested.
